Job Description

The Role:

Working for one of the top 5 Hire companies in the UK, you will be working as a Plant and Utility Equipment Service Engineer / Fitter. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Small Plant, with previous experience of servicing and repairing diesel engines, and hydraulic and electrical experience. Whilst mostly workshop based you will be on call 1 week in 4 covering breakdowns on site.

The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Fitter Role Will Have:

  • Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Tool Fitter, Hire Technician, Test & Run
  • You Will Need Previous Experience within the Plant and Tool Hire Industry
  • Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
  • Able to Work Without Instruction
  • Clean Current Driving License


Within the Role of Service Engineer / Fitter You Would Receive:

  • Pension
  • Permanent Full Time Position
  • Monday - Friday only as Standard
  • Excellent Basic Salary
  • On call Payment
  • Overtime
